A sheltered area in South San Jose, pretty much isolated from the rest of the city. The houses in Almaden are generally big and two stories, and the people are rich. The kids in Almaden are usually rich, spoiled, preppy. Either they are wannabes who think they live in Beverly Hills, or they are rich white kids who want to be ghetto. Almaden includes the schools Leland, Bret Harte, Castillerro.

This verb is derived from an accomplished New York City fitness trainer, Alma. The word is a verb that means to perform a fitness skill at the highest caliber and strength level possible, while still maintaining proper form. This might include the addition of heavy weights to a skill normally performed with body weight only or mastering a skill like a push up balancing on one foot.
Once the student athlete had mastered a basic push up, they almaized the skill and performed it balancing on one leg.
