Abeitis

Medical condition occurring commonly among shipyard employees. Symptoms include depression, weakness in the joints(specifically the ankles), trouble getting out of bed, an overall feeling of lethargy, saying “better than what I got”,& a hatred of life in general. Is highly contagious & cannot be cured or treated once it becomes terminal.

I was down with the abeitis all last week & nearly jumped off a bridge. Good thing I have unlimited vacation time.

"Nomen agentis" is a grammatical term that means agent noun and refers to a noun created from a verb denoting an action, where the noun identifies an entity that performs that action. Some examples include kicker, swimmer, hiker, speaker.

The nomen agentis is the subject of the sentence.

In Latin, the nomen agentis fututor, meaning fucker, is derived from the verb "futuo, futuere, futui". Latin fututor has entered modern English as futterer, retaining the meaning of fucker.

Wishful Agentism

The self-attained thought that occurs upon watching an action film and believing that you could emulate them lead character.
The films in question are ones in which one protagonist is going solo against the rest of the world (eg. The Bourne Trilogy, Shooter, Taken) whether that be the government, the law or the given enemy.
Effects can be long lasting.

Your friend: Man, you should not be getting in this deep.
You: Don't worry, I know how to run from the police.
Your friend: No you don't, you've just got wishful agentism.
