A metaphor commonly used around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Basically;

Sure you've made a mistake, but you can still cover it up or make up for it somehow.

Similar to when you make a mess on your clothes, but you're able to wash it out.

(Yinzer 1): Yinz see Ben Worthlessburger frig up that stillers game last Sunday?

(Yinzer 2): Ehhh f#@k it man, it all comes out in the wash.
