Examples of troncos are Diego Reyes, Maza Rodriguez , Kikin Fonseca and some even call Chicharito Hernandez a tronco because of his unorthodox ways of scoring goals. A tronco doesn't necessarily mean that the player is unsuccessful, Hernandez being the perfect example.
Many call Kikin Fonseca the biggest tronco in Mexican soccer history. Chicharito has scored many goals in his career, but to many people, he's still a tronco.
