The customers behind George

"The customers behind George" is an expression used to describe something that sucks, is boring and/or ruins your day.
This math class is like the customers behind George!

The Customer is King

A corporate cliche meaning that the direction of a business is ultimately determined by its customers. The business is compelled to sell products and services that customers want/need, at a price they are willing to pay, and provide an acceptable level of service, otherwise customers will look elsewhere and they will not make money.

It does not, as many people believe, mean that individual customers are always right, or that the business should be compelled to pander towards the whims of these individual customers. It is only the aggregate needs of all potential customers that need to be fulfilled.
If you don't think that sandwich is worth $6 then buy lunch elsewhere. The customer is king.

The customer is always right

A maxim in the retail industry wherein a customer is first priority. The sentence is a logical fallacy because it never assumes that a customer can lie, (They do. A lot.) have unrealistic expectations, (They do. A lot.) make ridiculous demands, (They do. A lot.) or even flat-out abuse the staff member in question just because. (They... Well, you get the idea.) As a result, this mindset has led to many, many, MANY instances of customers acting like entitled jackasses because they think it will get them what they want.
"The customer is always right?" More like, "The customer is usually a moron and an asshole."

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
