A portmanteau of "text" and "reject." To fail to respond to a text message (particularly one that merits acknowledgment), either deliberately or accidentally.

Girl 1: He never responded to my text about tonight!
Girl 2: You just got textjected.

When you dont get a reply to your texts for over 1 hour yet other people text you and get up your hopes, you then read the text and find out its not from the person you want it to be.

*bleeep*
'ooh yes finally a reply'
*reads the text*
' oh its you... textjected'
