Playing the world's saddest song on the world's smallest violin

A sarcastic saying used when a person tells another person of something mildly unfortunate that has happened to them, sometimes exaggerated in order to gain sympathy. It implies that the person speaking of their misfortune expects someone to come in playing the saddest song in the world on the worlds smallest violin to correspond with the apparent tradgedy of the situation. Sometimes the person saying this will mime playing a small violin, or try and imitate the sound of a violin.
Jade: Hello, how are you?
Laurel: I just stepped in dog poop and my new shoes got ruined and my feet smell like dog poop, and-
Jade: -Shh... hear that? i'm playing the world's saddest song on the world's smallest violin (mimes playing small violin)

World's Smallest Violin

When someone is whining and you are tired of hearing it, you can play the world's smallest violin to provide musical ambiance to dramatize their annoying whine. This is accomplished by rubbing your index finger and thumb together and saying, "This is the world's smallest violin, and it's playing just for you."
Joshua: "America would be so much better if we were a communist country. Everyone deserves to have equal wages, we are all people and that is true equality."

Jeffrey (rubbing fingers together): "Do you hear that Joshua? I got the world's smallest violin, and I'm playing it just for you."

Gearing up for smallies

Gearing up for smallies simply means you are doing everything in your power to get the inside advantage on catching long dong small mouth bass. This is not limited to- buying OD rats, buying Baby FishEverything haters, buying split ring pliers from your local Walmart at 11 o’clock pm and or slapping so many slaps on your fishing vessel of choice that you nearly double it’s resale value.
“ Hey Philip, you want to go fish for some bass?”

“Ya Adrian!”

“Phil what’s taking so long?”

Sorry man been Gearing up for smallies, you know how long that can take.”

“Oh my bad Phil, ya I understand that.”

Smallasses

Pronounced like molasses (muh-las-iz), it is someone who has a small or below average sized ass. It isn't a medical diagnosis, it is simply the fact that someone has a small ass. It can be used as a name to call someone with a small ass, like a nickname, or it can be used to describe the person's ass directly. When figuring out if someone has smallasses, you only take the size of the butt cheeks into account. Quality and color of the ass are not relevant, nor is the gender of the person. You don't need to see their bare ass cheeks to make the decision that they have smallasses either. Simply giving them a friendly grope can help you determine. Typically, if you can fit most of one of your hands around one of their butt cheeks, that is a good sign of smallasses.
Hey, smallasses! Get over here!

I walked past Tim today on the way to close and I noticed he had smallasses.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
