Doing something with the intention of having a specific outcome.

I purposefully did not mention it because I didn't want to risk ruining the surprise.

Purposefully obtuse

When you ask questions or do something, just for the sake of doing it without any real purpose.

when you are being stupid or unclear on purpose- to cause trouble or confusion. can also be condradictory

kid: i did my homework but i didnt do my homework
