An epidemic that leads organizations to use the most boring verb in the English language – provide.

That nonprofit's website has a serious case of Providitis - all of their goals are to "provide XYZ."

Nonprofits always have the same narrative:"We exist. Give us money so we can PROVIDE things"

promotisement 

An advertisement disguised as a promotion or a promotion disguised as an advertisement.

1) Fox News presented Tea Bag events as news. However, they were a promotisement for Fox News sponsored events.

2) Commercials during television news programs that present products and services as real news bulletins. The mortgage industry collapse created a new bred of opportunistic promotisements.

Promitis 

To be superfantastically excited for an upcoming event called Prom. You have been waiting impatiently for the event and now that Prom night is not far away, you've been experiencing strong, impatient feelings about how long it is taking for Prom to get here. Some people encounter side effects like irritability, craziness, and an intense eagerness.
