Tentatively scheduled or tentatively planned. Sometimes used to give the appearance of wanting to meet when no such desire exists.
Ok John, I've got you pencilled in for two o'clock on Thursday unless something comes up.
The place in a windowsill where you can place pens when the window is open.
Wiltmore used the pensill to store extra pens because his desk was next to a window.

Pencillious

-Having the same physical properties as a pencil

-a drawing or writing impliment with the main drawing/writing element incased withinn a material ie, wood,plastic,plaster,metal / any material solid.

*Graphite sticks are NOT pencillious if left bare, neither are the two main elements/materials when not combined.

When something is not completely confirmed. Like if you use a pen it's confirmed. Pencilling in is a maybe.
