Mapler

A Mapler is usually one who is addicted to the MMORPG Maple Story and plays it often. It was first used because Nexon used the term. It's often first said with a private server, for one who uses private servers a lot. Maplers often have something to really show their obsession over Maple Story, like having a plushie, or having a drawing of yourself in Maple Story form.

Maplers are so addicted to Maple Story.

Mapler

Another name for a basketball player who plays on maple hardwood floors. Most floors are made of maple hardwood. The Celtics are the only NBA team who play on red oak hardwood parquet floors. The rest play on Maple flooring.

Or a basketball player hailing from Canada; with the maple leaf symbolizing the Canadian flag.

Used in the sense of a basketball player being a Cager, or in this case...a Mapler.

Maple Ditch

A term which both the locals, and people in neighbouring areas use to describe the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The term references the lack of anything to do in the city, the poor condition of streets and buildings in and around the downtown "ghetto", and the growing number of homeless people and crackheads. The only shopping centre is Haney Place Mall (A.K.A. Skid Central) which consists mainly of a Zellers, a Dollar Giant, an A&W in the food-court, and a bus loop which 12-26 year old skids and douchebags sit bumming cigarettes, asking for money, doing ecstacy, stealing from the stores in the mall, and most importantly NOT BUSSING ANYWHERE! Although the bus loop is located directly beside the cop shop, the police generally don't do fuck all about it.

Sarah: "I'm going to Maple Ridge today, wanna come?"
Dan: "Nah bitch, that's dirt!"
Sarah: "Please, I want someone to come to the mall with me."
Dan: "That's greasy as fuck, yo! I ain't going to Maple Ditch, or anywhere near Skid Central"

Maplestory

A free and legal drug that's more addicting than crack. Once you're hooked, you'll want more and more, and you will become sleep deprived with no social life. Some even go so far as to steal their parents' credit cards to buy pixelated clothes and accessories. Don't let the innocent and cute looking mushroom fool you. The first time you see it, you will laugh, but once you're in to it, it will be serious business.

What kind of a childish game is this?.. Maplestory? ahaha looks like a kid for babies *few days later*

licking a tree and hoping for maple syrup
