Acronym coined by Ryan Higa for "most annoying people on the Internet." Pronounced mah-POH-tee.

These people may include: the overly used acronyms guy, the attention whore, the hater/troll, the overused sayings person, the overly deep person, the hash tagger, the food photographer, the unrelated captions girl, the trying too hard guy, the not enough information person that makes posts about their current situation but doesn't want to talk about it when you ask them person, the wannabe rapper, the grammar Nazi, everyone on MySpace, or that one guy that always complains about others.

Makoto Itou

Probably one of the most hated anime characters ever created. This character is featured in the anime based off of the visual novel "School Days." In the last episode of the anime, Sekai, a girl who Makoto cheats on by having sex with every girl in his grade, kills him. My friends and I agreed that Makoto deserved to die, and his death was probably one of the funniest moments in the entire anime.

Person 1: Oh my god, did you see what happened in the last episode of School Days?
Person 2: Yeah! Makoto Itou deserved to die! I'm so glad Sekai killed him!
