Stopping for lunch in a town you don't want to spend a night in, usually to avoid family, to get together with people while traveling in between 2 towns.
We took the train from New York to Philadelphia, for a lunchover with friends, picked up a rental car and then drove to Atlantic City, successfully avoiding succumbing to familial guilt.

Lunchsterbator

A person who habitually eats lunch alone, even when presented with other alternatives.
I asked Vinnie if he wanted to go for lunch, but he just wanted to eat at his desk. What a lunchsterbator.

school lunches

Count yourself lucky if school lunches in your school is actually edible (if you're in the USA).
"Huh. So many people complaining about school lunches here. Am I THIS ungodly lucky to the point that I get a school that serves actually edible lunches that isn't just raw fruit or raw vegetables? I couldn't imagine if my school lunches were worse than prison food."
