Lunchover

Stopping for lunch in a town you don't want to spend a night in, usually to avoid family, to get together with people while traveling in between 2 towns.
We took the train from New York to Philadelphia, for a lunchover with friends, picked up a rental car and then drove to Atlantic City, successfully avoiding succumbing to familial guilt.

mommy luncher

A parent who insists on treating their preteen child / children like babies. Specifically meeting with them during team lunches for sports teams their child participates in.
Look at that mommy luncher, she didn't have time to eat her lunch because she was blowing on her 12 year old son's hot chocolate to cool it off and then needed to put dressing on her 14 year old daughter's salad. She may not have enough energy to follow their ski lesson around this afternoon.

Lunchner

luhnch-ner

–noun
1. a heavy midafternoon meal between lunch and dinner, typically enjoyed on weekends

origin - made popular in the 2010s in London. Has since taken on a global following.

Benefits - allows the diner to enjoy an extravagant feast whilst removing the downside. Because lunchner replaces both lunch and dinner, it saves time, reduces net calorie intake and leaves one with a lighter stomach before bedtime.
