nadolig llawen

Welsh Expression.

Nadolig comes from old latin which means birthday.

since the welsh for birthday is Penblwydd, this use of 'birthday' is a specific birthday, the birthday of Christ. It casually means Christmas, but of course the word Christmas doesn't literally mean birthday at all.

Llawen means joyful or merry, so Nadolig Llawen is literally merry birthday, and casually means merry xmas.

Nadolig Llawen my friends, hope you have a good 'un.

Land of chips and lagar is the the title of a popular version of the song "Land of Hope and Glory" adapted to suit Cockneys way of life in the United Kingdom. The song first appeared publicly in the TV Series "Spitting Image"

The lyrics of the popular Cockney song:

Llavero

Spanish for 'key chain' or 'key holder.' Means shot caller in prison or jail. The Llavero has the keys to the yard.
