Jehuty
The protagonist Mecha of the Zone of the Enders games for Playstation 2. Its name is derived from two plausable sources--Djehuty and Andjety of Egyptian Mythology.
Jehuty's purpose is to penetrate the Mars military fortress, Aumaan, and to destroy Aumaan from the inside by self-destructing Jehuty. This is a purpose that cannot be disarmed; it is programmed into the Nucleus of the system, codenamed ADA.
Jehuty features a teal and red complexion, in addition a light green flowline finish. He has two feather ornaments mounted on his head, an enormous blade on his right arm, and the artists crafted him in the likeness of a Bird.
Jehuty is constructed out of the mineral Metatron, which was discovered in 2055. Jehuty has a twin Orbital Frame, Anubis, which ultimately tries to bring about Jehuty's doom. Their fates collide in Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner with a tragic outcome.

Drive Like Jehu
A 90s post-hardcore band from San Diego. Combining punkish aggression and attitude with the complexity of math rock, Drive Like Jehu played emo before it became a dirty word. There's no whining, just tons of maniac energy and incendiary performances from all around. When Drive Like Jehu set themselves to rocking (which was most of the time), they did so with a rollicking intensity and an unabashed catchiness that managed to emerge even amidst all the eardrum abuse. More importatntly, these songs are catchy on their own terms, without resorting to the cliched pop hooks that characterize pretty much everything on rock radio these days. An exceptional band.
Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu is one of the best emo - punk rock - post-hardcore - whatever bands ever.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
