A form of prejudice focused towards people who lack common sense (a.k.a. Idiots) and people who fall into stereotypical classifications.

Not to be confused with racism or sexism, this form of hatred does not focus on gender or race, but focuses on how a person presents themself.

intelligicide

(Noun) The concept of being smart and open minded enough to realize one knows a little bit about a vast and difficult (often political) subject, but not nearly enough to have an informed and defendable opinion, thus staying silent and leaving the debate to the even less informed masses, and in turn contributing to the atmosphere of slander and polarization.
Because she was afraid to defend her standpoint, Megan kept silent even though she saw clear fallacy in the logic of both sides, effectively committing intelligicide.
