A comical and incredibly fun combination of skipping,
running, hopping and arm waving, where the hopsalaufing
person's limbs and arms
flail in all directions at once. Generally accompanied by a high pitched squeal of excitement. Derived from the German words: laufen (to run) and hopsen (to jump).
"Let's hopsalauf."
"Will you hopsalauf through town singing the Ghanaian national anthem with me?"
"I'm going to hopsalauf round the lounge."
"
My friend just hosalaufed all the way to Bangladesh. What a Pagol."
"Hey, I tell you what, this hopsalaufing
malarkey is damn
awesome."
