grammarsphere

The grammarsphere is the cyberworld of web pages, blogs, and Facebook groups where English-language nerds hang out and have raging debates about things like "singular they", "verbing nouns", "the Oxford comma" and "logical punctuation".
"Do you want to do something this weekend?"

"Whom."
"The people that your meeting this weekend."
"I think you mean 'The people whom you're meeting this weekend.'"

Grammarizing

The act of openly correcting someone else's improper use of grammar in front of others, oftentimes at a social gathering.
I said "her and I" instead of "she and I," so she started grammarizing me at the party.

A funny little word that you may hear your english teacher may use to imply that s/he is religious in regard to grammar. I've always taken it to mean that your grammar will be corrected without remorse.
My english teacher swears she's a devout Grammarian.
