An abnormal condition of the mind resulting in a loss of contact with reality brought upon by the announcement of impending furloughs. A merging of the words psychosis and furlough. Usually experienced by government employees during a time of sequestration.
Bob's mail hasn't been delivered in two days due to the workers at the post office suffering from severe cases of furlousis.
