FreeBSD

noun - primary one

FreeBSD is one of several Unix-like operating systems stemming from the BSD4.4-lite release of the Berkeley Software Distributions.

FreeBSD is the most popular of the BSDs and is focused largely on the ix86 platform.

FreeBSD currently has two main development branches; 4.9 and 5.2. The first is stable and ready for use in servers. The second is a development branch that will see better SMP support.

The FreeBSD mascot is one that is shared by all BSDs, the beastie. Falsely called Chuck or Charlie by some this daemon is a smiling fellow in large sneakers that has undergone relatively few alterations over the past two decades and has been used on hats, boxer shorts, shirts, jackets, stickers and has been used on a series of pewter and copper statues.

FreeBSD has spawned two prominent derived operating systems; Darwin, the Unix-like underpinings of Mac OS X and DragonflyBSD, a contiuation of the 4.x codebase seeking to completely rewrite the way the operating system uses multiple processors.

Freebasing

Freebasing is when you take chemical reagents, research chemicals, or drugs, and you turn them from the HCl salt or other salts to the freebase. This is often done either with baking soda and hydrogen oxide(water) or sodium hydroxide. Sometimes you need to freebase something to react with ketones or aldehydes in a lab to form an imine. Sometimes you freebase something to smoke it(make it more smokable) even though it last shorter just because the high or buzz hits faster. HCl salts can be mixed in water and drinked or snorted. Freebase can only be smoked. Ethylamine HCl in ethanol solution to freebase ethylamine in ethanol using sodium hydroxide. Methylphenidate HCl (Ritalin, MPH HCl) to freebase Methylphenidate. 4F-MPH HCl to freebase 4F-MPH. Troparil HCl to freebase Troparil. Amphetamine HCl to freebase Amphetamine. Ethylamphetamine HCl to freebase Ethylamphetamine. Cocaine HCl to freebase Cocaine(called crack). 3-FA HCl to freebase 3-FA. Blue speed HCl to freebase Blue speed.

4F-MPH HCl to freebase 4F-MPH using baking soda and hydrogen oxide (water) is an example of freebasing.

Freebase speed

Freebase speed is freebase amphetamine or freebase Ethylamphetamine. Amphetamine and Ethylamphetamine usually comes in solid HCl salt form. But freebase amphetamine and Ethylamphetamine is a liquid. You can smoke it or inhale the vapors. You can't mix freebase speed with water and drink it and you can't snort it. You would need speed HCl.

I turned speed HCl into freebase speed and then smoked it. It was awesome!
