Fonged

To become flustered, overwhelmed and confused under the slightest sign of pressure to the point when even speaking can become difficult.

(The term “Fonged” is a combination of the words, flustered, overwhelmed, gone and confused.)

“Hey how did you go in court today?”

“Yeah, not good. When the questions started I got flustered, I couldn’t even talk!”

“Oh man, sounds like you fonged it!”

“Sure did!”

The act of hitting a mechenical device that is unserviceable with the side of your fist, rendering it now fully serviceable.

Just when it seemed like it was never going to work, I fonzied it and it came back to life.

Arthur Fonzerelli

The incarnation of cool. A character on the TV show Happy Days, set in the 50's. Known as "The Fonze" or "Fonzie. Played by Henry Winkler.

Like the Lone Ranger, only cooler.

Fonzerelli Effect

The act of fixing an electronic or mechanical device simply by touching it, or hitting it.

Named after Authur Fonzerelli , the cool guy from the late television show "Happy Days". His powers over the jukebox at the local diner were uncanny.

Every time my computer acts up, I take it to the technition. It works just fine when he examines it. He must have the Fonzerelli Effect.
