To avoid an event, bail out, normally with a pitiful or no excuse.
"Hey, why didn't you show up last night?"
"I just felt like ferging out."

Also past tense, "I really ferged out."

Refusing to go out and socialise with friends. Often used when the subject would rather stay in with a spouse or partner.
Fred: Are you coming out tonight?
Bill: No mate, sitting in with the wife.

Fenging up the shui 

Changing something, particularly within a group of people, that affects everyone. This change can be seen as uncomfortable or different, and will not go unnoticed, however small it is.
When Evan pulled the lunch table forward, if only a few inches, he had fenged up the shui for everyone sitting at it.

Emily: Stop fenging up the shui by trying to switch us to 2% milk!

Normally followed up by comments such as "u ok hun?" "Can't talk about it on here bbes I'll inbox you"
