court evangelical

Court Evangelicals are Trump’s inner circle of Christian evangelicals who think it is a good idea for ministers to endorse candidates from the pulpit, have bowed a knee to the political power of the presidency, think Trump is a “baby Christian,” believe evangelicals have found their “dream president” in Trump, and regularly show up at the White House whenever Trump wants to say something about religion. The court evangelicals sacrifice their prophetic voice to political influence. The court evangelicals have put their faith in a political strongman who promises to alleviate their fears and protect them from the forces of secularization.

They are evangelical leaders who will defend Donald Trump no matter what he does.

Evangelicaland

Evangelicaland is the place where Christianity is defined by do's and don'ts, political affiliation and church attendance.
In Evangelicaland, to truly be a Christian, you have to act and think a certain way.

evangelica

The most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Just by looking at her eyes will melt your heart and you will probably fall in love with her.
She is so Evangelica.

Evangelical Atheist

An atheist that combats religion as zealously as evangelicals thrust their religious beliefs on others.
I was talking to a co-worker about an episode of Mysteries of the Bible on National Geographic and this Evangelical Atheist jumped into our conversation telling us that we believed in a Spaghetti Monster God.

evangelical

Type of Christianity that places authority in the Bible as the infallible word of God. This does not necessarily mean a literal interpretation of everything in the Bible (cf. creationism). Not to be confused with evangelism, which means something entirely different.
No-one knows what evangelical means.

Exvangelical

A person who has left the Evangelical Christian movement. This includes people who have left to more progressive Christian denominations as well as those who have left Christianity all together.
I was raised Baptist but am now an Exvangelical. I am currently agnostic.
