Dining Room

A room in which the twentieth century family sits down to have a nice meal together, usually dinner or supper for you southerners. Commonly, now adays, the dining room consists of computers, toys, boxes, last years christmas fruit cake and maybe even a book case.

Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
