An insidious and disturbing
psychological disorder with onset after an especially protracted visit to Disneyland which causes the sufferer to believe that
everything that’s happening in their life, long after leaving the Happiest Place on Earth, is actually part of a ride or an attraction which results in the person having a permanently surreal
perspective that leads to emotional numbness, depersonalization and high risk behavior.
As he headed for the cliffside running as fast as he could push himself, I
realized way too late that he was engulfed in a
full-blown state of Posttraumatic Disneyland Disorder and that it was highly unlikely he would live through the upcoming 250 foot drop onto
the rocks below!
