The Internet, used in the sense that it confines us rather than liberates us. Different from Cyberspace, which implies freedom of virtual movement and expression.
As more of us become addicted to social networking sites and email, we find there is no peace in the Cyberstadt.

Cybersadist 

A person who finds humor in watching people experience pain or discomfort strictly online and not in a face-to-face setting. If in a real life scenario, the person would most likely be uncomfortable or sad, which is the opposite of how they would feel if they watched the same event online.
Guy 1: I found it funny when I watched that woman get shot 10 times in the back on liveleak.
Guy 2: Dude, how would you feel if you were watching that unfold before your eyes?

A derivative of the word 'sand' when applied in the saying: "..drew a line in the sand." Its specific use is in relation to cyberspace.
The Pentagon has drawn a line in the cybersand by classifying any further cyber attacks as an act of war.
