Chindie

A chindie is a chav who tries to cover themself from that reputation by dressing or acting like an indie. This means that they will wear scarves, baggy cardigans, have messy hair and a parting starting from their ear. They will still listen to chav culture music, like X factor shit, but say they listen to the most ovious, NME bands like the Kooks and Razorlight. When joining networks like Bebo or Facebook, they will discuss bands that they think are indie bands like MGMT, and talk about how cool they are for knowing a song not in the charts. The hilarious thing is that they never know who the fuck any of them are. A chindie will always avoid a real indie in case they get found out that they don't have a clue. A female chindie will usually attract a true, fit indie boy. Their relationship will usually only last the online taliking stage-until they decide to meet up. Within the first glance- he should be able to recognise her gayness, and leave immediatley.

Chindie-"Did you watch the NME chart last night"
True Indie-"Yeah, why?"
Chindie-"Have you heard The Enemy's new song?"
True Indie-"Yeah, what about the Super Furry Animals new one?"
Chindie-"..."

Chinkie

A dated pejorative slang term denoting Chinese origin. The term has largely been forgotten by political correctness and awareness of global peoples, but has resurfaced to describe consumer items and articles manufactured in China. These items are of poor or inferior quality or considered to be disposable - particularly when those items replaced higher quality items or ones with greater expectation of longevity. History shows that manufacture of these items may employ practices banned in or deemed hazardous by other nations, for example, adding melamine, an adulterant which may be poisonous to certain individuals or in certain concentrations, in order to fraudulently increase the protein levels of foods, or painting toys with lead-based paint.

These items are imported to the detriment of domestic workers and domestically produced items. Retailers and corporations counter that domestically produced materials would be significantly more expensive and that consumers would be unwilling to pay the cost differential, thereby harming their profit margins.

I wish I could go to the store and buy goods that aren't Chinkie garbage.

someone who contains characteristics of chav, emo and an indie person.

this could be several combinations, usually looking like one but acting like the other two.

a chindiemo can be someone who, for example, may have short hair and look quite chavish, but wear indie clothes and act like am emo.
