bookin it meant studying, usually at the library.

We used this in college at UW-Madison when we were going to study instead of doing quualudes on a Thursday Night.

“Hey you want to meet us tonight at the Plaza”? …”Aw shit no. I’m Bookin it tonight at the library. Got an f’ing test tomorrow”
