blue wave surfers 

Weak and/or insincere Democrats; word originated from the imaginary blue wave whooshing in to victory, that Democrats talk about using to beat out the Republicans in the 2018 and 2020 election cycles, while supporting corrupt candidates and candidates who accept PAC money and/or other corrupt dollars.
Come support the blue wave surfers this week at the democratic national convention. The blue wave surfers have an awful lot of broken boards, just like their promises to people of color. Will the strong blue wave surfers please stand up, so you can do something other than these ankle busters.

ride the blue wave 

to go out drinking without much money, or to be with friends who are drinking when you cannot be drinking. The term comes from when funds are low and one must theoretically resort to other resources of alcohol (such as mouthwash) to get a buzz. Note this term does not imply drinking said mouthwash.
1: Would you like to go out drinkin' tonight?
2: No, I've no money. I'd be a fifth wheel.
1: Don't matter. Just ride the blue wave with us anyway, man.

Blue Ocean Wave 

1. The mixture of blue Gatorade and alcohol. (usually liquor)
2. A common way for students to sneak alcohol into school.
Kid 1: "Can I waterfall that Gatorade?"
Kid 2: "No, this is Blue Ocean Wave."
Kid 1: "I didn't know you drank at school."

Precedes or follows either a gratuitously disrespectful or honest remark, originated in New York City. Used in similar fashion to "no offense" or "to be honest," interchangeably.

Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.

Also used to describe establishments where alternative foods and products are sold, i.e. natural food stores.

Modified derivative of granola.
"I need more crunchy guys in my life. I'm so tired of dating preppy metrosexual assholes."

"I'm heading out to the crunchy store to pick up some fair trade chocolate and tea tree oil, do you need anything?"
