A forgotten "genre" of music that encompassed many genres in the mid to late 2000s. Indie dance, new rave, French touch, electro house, and others. For the most part, it was the stuff popular on music blogs around that time. The term was popularized by the famous (now defunct) blog Hipster Runoff.

A bloghole blogs with the intention of becoming popular or "making it big" (do we know anyone that has happened to?). A bloghole comments just to get you to follow them.
