bloghouse

A forgotten "genre" of music that encompassed many genres in the mid to late 2000s. Indie dance, new rave, French touch, electro house, and others. For the most part, it was the stuff popular on music blogs around that time. The term was popularized by the famous (now defunct) blog Hipster Runoff.
"Yeah, I just found out about Hype Machine, I just downloaded a bunch of MP3s of Van She, Chromeo, and every Justice remix. Now my iPod is filled with bloghouse!"

blog house

1. A genre of dance music, influenced by electro and French house music, made with a simple and lo-fi aesthetic sensibility by people all over the world. Hallmarks of the blog house sound include distorted melodies, 8-bit sounds, sliced-up vocals and pop structures. The democratization of music production and distribution technologies has made the creation and dissemination of blog house available to anyone with a computer and the desire to make dance music.

2. Dance music that proliferates through a blog.

bloghole

Someone that talks, tweets, and acts poorly in a blog. A bloghole follows another blog just to get a "follow back;" then unfollows immediately after the pay out (happens often on Twitter). A bloghole blogs with the intention of becoming popular or "making it big" (do we know anyone that has happened to?). A bloghole comments just to get you to follow them.
"You just blog about your tawdry affairs to get attention ... you are such a bloghole!"

"'Great post. Follow me back @.....' - said by every bloghole known to mankind."
