The ‘Alpaca of Agreement’ is an emoji used to convey agreement or acceptance over digital communication mediums. Emojis such as the ‘thumbs up’ are overused, and the ‘fist bump’ can be misinterpreted as a desire to inflict bodily harm upon the recipient. The Alpaca of Agreement was born out of society’s overwhelming desire to find a better way to express agreement digitally.
Born in the Moquegua Valley region of Peru, the expression was originally the ‘Llama of Agreement’. The name was later changed after widespread backlash due to the fact that llamas are not agreeable whatsoever, and will literally spit in your face just to be a jerk.
The name was recently changed to Alpaca of Agreement, based on the even temperament of alpacas and their generally convivial nature. Also, Unicode brings up the same emoji for either animal

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
