An instance when one's rationality is lost, which results in an embarrassing comment or action that goes seemingly unrealized until later. Situations like this tend to instigate anger and can go as far as one party seeking revenge through violence.

Maddone a mia 

It means mother of god in Italian.

It is a mild swear word to show that you are angry, overwhelmed, disappointed or annoyed about something.

Usually maddone a Mia is used after a moan or a sigh which may be an anxiety trigger for those around who hear it.

.. Children come home from school and throw their book bags in the middle of the floor….

Their mother: Ughh maddone a mia! These kids are gonna be death of me!

Husband : This is our last day of vacation so we better enjoy it!
Wife: Awww Madonne a mia, just think, this time tomorrow we’ll be back at work.

Madder than a wet hen 

Used in common phrases by rednecks/ white trash. It means to be madder than a wet hen, and when a hen gets wet; it gets really mad. The term cannot be said the way it looks though. You have to break it up all redneck like. Such as the example.

Jim: Whats up buddy?
