A portmanteau of Zoomer and Gulag, these are the hypothetical concentration camps the young ill use to imprison the old for the crimes of destroying the planet and saddling us with crushing debt.

In the 21st century tensions rose between the younger generations, represented by Generation Z, and the older generations, represented by the Baby Boomers. This ultimately erupted into he Meme Wars in 2032.
The Meme Wars featured the rise of online guerrilla skirmishes in addition to armed combat. The Boomers outdated chain e-mail tactics were no match for the Zoomers‘ highly effective ISIS-style recruitment Tik Toks and Twitter shadow banning petitions, but their ultimate downfall was the Zoomer development of an especially humiliating hashtag from which the Boomers never fully recovered.
Surviving Boomers were rounded up and forced into Zulags where they were subjected to numerous inhumane conditions, notably the requirement to test new Fortnite dances for excruciating hours, which wore away their already arthritic knees and hips. Although the Fyre Festival Accords on Basic Human rights would have granted Boomer free universal health care, Boomers won a pyrrhic victory in Charlie Kirk v. Sec. of HHS Ocasio-Cortez, 13 U.S. 145 (1945). Authored by Chief Justice Kavanaugh (whose life tenure had not yet expired after 27 years on the bench), Boomers could purchase private insurance of their choice. Most Boomers ultimately could not afford the 2,000 orders of avocado toast deductible typical of these plans and eventually Flossed themselves into a pile of ironic femur dust.
