Of or like the works or philosophy of American composer, musician and film director Frank Zappa (1940-1993). Much of his music and other work related to new and bleeding edges of jazz and other experimental and surreal, often self defined, genres.

A highly misunderstood language whose proper pronunciation is guaranteed after several cocktails. Zapalese is characterized by heavy slurring, aggressive use of profanity and rapid fluctuations in volume.

Zappanasta 

A person that knows every line up of all of the band members on any recording that Frank Zappa ever performed on, wrote, or produced.

They also know all of the written lyrics and the lyrics and variations of how the song was actually performed live.

I was humming along to Yellow Snow and put a 'Wee Wee" in the wrong place and was immediately corrected by a Zappanasta.
