Wolfensickness

The feeling of vertigo and nausea that some people get while playing, or watching others play, 3D FPS games, such as Wolfenstein 3D, for which it is named.

It is more generally known as simulation sickness, a form of motion sickness. The prevailing theory for the cause is that the illusion of motion created by the virtual world, combined with the absence of motion detected by the inner ear, causes the brain to infer that one is hallucinating from toxins. The brain responds by inducing nausea and vomiting, to clear the supposed toxin.

Ingesting ginger root products (herbal capsules, lozenges, tea) may offer some relief from the nausea.

Sorry, I can't watch you play anymore, it's giving me really bad Wolfensickness.

A type of space fighter in the Starfox series of rail-shooter/flight sim games. It is usaully the main ship used by the starwolf crew. They are the rivals of team starfox, the heroes of the series. In Starfox Assualt, you can pilot wolfens in multiplayer mode. They are faster and have stronger lasers, but are a bigger target and it's brakes can't come to a full stop.

1. Wolf(a wolf), Leon(a chameleon), Pigma(a pig), and Andrew(a monkey) are the Wolfen's main pilots in all starfox games except for Assualt, where Andrew and Pigma left the team.

Wolkenator

(noun) eponymous reference to Albert Wolk based on the similiarities to the T-800 HK (Hunter-Killer) cyborg featured in the 1997 motion picture TERMINATOR staring Arnold Swartzenager.

Similiarities include the efficient manner in which subject does not waste time with meaningless words and has an automatic response for certain situations. Mannerisms also include the speed and efficiency in which both the cyborg and/or Wolk can register a "kill" and completly focus on the mission at hand undaunted by any obstacle that lay in it's path, be it the bar room, bedroom or boardroom.
