A part of Brooklyn known for its hipster population. North Williamsburg (near the L train) is generally filled with trustafarians, overpriced bars, and vintage clothing stores, where South Williamsburg (near the JMZ train) is still home to a large Hasidic and Hispanic population.

Williamsburg bike lanes

1) A battleground for the war being waged in Williamsburg, Brooklyn between the hipsters and the Hasidic Jews.

2) The new symbol for passive-aggressive antisemitism, with the irony that only a hipster could imagine.

It really made me uncomfortable when they repainted the Williamsburg bike lanes, I mean they're trying to bully the jews in a historically jewish neighborhood. They really need to take a deep breathe and think about what they're doing.

Williamsburger's syndrome is a social condition when one has lived or spent so much time in a trendy hip neighborhood like Williamsburg, Brooklyn that they can no longer function within non-hipster society.

Tom has been living in Williamsburg for 3 years now and he now runs an underground moustache collective in his apartment, last time he was around for Christmas he called my uncle a fascist for eating turkey and wrote a scathing yelp review of my mom's yams. I think he may have Williamsburger's.
