Yard Walkers tend to appear busy, and almost always are communicating with some unknown entity via hand held radio. The Yard Walker's most difficult job is to answer any relevant question about the patient when asked by EMS personnel. A Yard Walker is the visual stereotype of your friendly neighborhood hero....the Firefighter.
