Origins of this Toronto saying are unclear, but it is most likely derived from the saying “put 2 and 2 together,” meaning the conclusion is OBVIOUS or a FACT. It is also used interchangeably with “More Times” (see definition).

(Note: you cannot say my word after two twos. It is redundant and stupid).
Example 1: Sean: Yo, two twos (if you put 2 and 2 together), your girlfriend is cheating on you. She went to that house party and didn’t call you once fam.

Example 2: Sarah: What do you think of my dress?

Sam: Two twos (more times), it looks good still.
Two Twos by Fixing Toronto Slang December 18, 2025
A South African slang term, native to Durban (specifically within the Durban Indian and "Charou" communities), used as a measure of time meaning "in a moment," "very quickly," or "right away." It is used similarly to the South African phrase "now-now" to indicate that an action will happen almost immediately.
Person A: "Where are you? We are waiting for you at the braai!"Person B: "I’m just turning the corner, I'll be there in two twos ek se!"
