Thinging
n. \ˈthiŋiŋ\ - In a relationship, the intersection between being a "thing" and just being a "fling". A not-so-serious level of dating, that is still more serious than a one-night-stand or a quick relationship. Usually, it occurs when good friends become something more.
Thinging
Basically when two people are together, without the official title. Includes relationship-like habits, but an individual caught up in "a thing" with someone is technically single. It is often the step before a relationship.

Female masturbating, i.e, the female equivilent of jacking off. Originates from the lyrics of a once-popular hip-hop song by the group OutKast called "Caroline". Widely used by high school/college students on Chicago's North Shore. Variations: trig off, trig yourself, triggering, trig

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
