Words you can keep

The Highway

He walks alone, walks along the highway
Drinks from a bottle just the size of his fist
Skin smooth and glittering 6:00 news
Little girl longs for the taste of his kiss

His eyes are black and they're never ending
He's the suicide bridge and she's ready to jump
Ruby red lips so carefully painted
Sweet little girlie your messiah has come

What's inside an evil man's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a stranger's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside evil eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a stranger's eyes
I just had to know
He walks alone, walks along the highway
Drinks from a bottle just the size of his fist
Skin smooth and glittering 6:00 news
Little girl longs for the taste of his kiss

His eyes are black and they're never ending
He's the suicide bridge and she's ready to jump
Ruby red lips so carefully painted
Sweet little girlie your messiah has come

What's inside an evil man's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a stranger's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a killer's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a stranger's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a killer's eyes
I just had to know
What's inside a stranger's eyes
I just had to know

the highway of tears

Highway 16 in Canada is also known as the highway of tears because a large number of hitchhikers have been murdered along it. The term particularly refers to the stretch from Prince Rupert to Prince George.
Girls should never hitch alone on the highway of tears because lots of women have been murdered along it; some people think that it is the work of a serial killer.

Tollbooth on the highway of education

n. Popular and well-earned nickname for the ETS (Educational Testing Service), who produces and sells the GRE and SAT assessment tests. This parasite hauls in more than $0.6 billion in student money every year from its illegal monopoly on the testing market.
Every high school and college student in the country has to throw some big cash to ETS, the tollbooth on the highway of education. If a student doesn't pay his toll, he is usually shitcanned and forced to slave away at a McJob for the rest of his life.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
