A Nickname for Deep East side Oakland. This is the area of Oakland where there are many crimes such as (but not limited to): Car Jacking's, Drug Sales, Prostitution, and Murders. This area is dominated by the Latino Street Gang called the Border Brothers. The Mecca for the Deep is the 9800 block. Most people that reside in "The Deep" know that it is MOBB or Money over Broke Bitches.
