synthspirational

Showing creative inspiration after the synthesis of two or more ideas.

synthstruments

1. Any musical instrument that utilizes pre-recorded digital sounds, that are replayed through an electronic device - often but not necessarily fashioned as a facsimile of a pre-existing instrument - as the synthesizer piano, synth drums, theremin, keytar, guitar-synth. Notable for a distinctive buzzy, hollow sound.
2. The collective term for such instruments. See also, Synthstrumentation.
1. The distinctive sound of the 70s is often defined by the rise in synthstruments, creating the new wave subgenre of synthpop.
2. "Man, I love Africa by Toto, the synthstruments give it an otherworldly feel."
"Dude, that's lame, synthstruments were just a seventies fad."

Synthsplain

The act of explaining the functions of a synthesizer to one who who is already knowledgeable about the subject.
Reed: "Did you know the DX7 was the first synth with an LCD screen?"

Vince (realizing he's being synthsplained to): "You don't say. Hey, is there also an 'on' switch 'round the back?"

Synthetic drugs (MDMA, GHB, ketamine, acid or LSD, etcetera), as opposed to herbal (weed)
I prefer synths over herbs.
