Well, as you could probably guess it means that you are surprised. But it’s surprised in BIG CAPITAL LETTERS with explosions, earthquakes and tidal waves followed by a total eclipse of the sun. It’s the sort of surprise that you would feel when as you were feeding your cat she looked up at you and said “You’re fucking joking! I’m not eating that; it looks like puke and smells like shit! A Sunday Suprise occures when you take a presumed lady out to dinner. The dinner is going well so you decide to slip your hand up her skirt and much to the males suprise the presumed woman is carring a nasty set of hairy balls in her panties.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
