snaptexting

(verb) a term derived from the popular social media app, Snapchat. Snapchat is typically used to send an ugly selfie or a video, add a caption, and send it to a friend (or maybe a few). They receive it, and once it is opened and viewed the snap disappears.

Snaptexting occurs when two people engage in a conversation on Snapchat using the small amount of text caption you are allowed to add to each snap as a means of communicating.

Snaptexting is not only impractical because of the limited character count, but it is also frustrating because if you do not read the caption in time you can never retrieve the message again.

Morgan: *sends Ray a snap of pancakes* "Look at the pancakes I made!"

Ray: *sends Morgan a snap of a sad face* "I'm hungry, I want pancakes!"

Morgan: *sends Ray a snap of a happy face* "Come over, let's cook sometime!"

Ray: *sends Morgan another snap of a sad face* "I can't, I have finals."

The curious way that characters in Harry Potter Fanfiction can be not gay but still in love with a man, in popular practice this is a way to explain how Harry Potter has never been attracted to a man before and not really many women and is still attracted to Severus Snape. Also Severus Snape fans claim this title.

Snapsey

A snapsey, or the self titled "Snapester" is a fugitive, best known for evading the old bill on numerous occasions. Often witnessed driving a 1986 Mini Cooper (vertically on two wheels) it also engages in other UN-believable acts. Legend states that a snapsey once out-drank the England rugby team in a "top shelf" pint contest. Other stories claim that the snapsey scaled Truro cathedral after a "rampant gangbang" and woke up clutching the edge protection of the east tower. The regularity and ambiguous nature of the Snapey stories has lead many to believe he is simply a no good bullshitter, incapable of creating interest by any way other than lying.
