Smashex 

A Smashex is Royal Naval slang for a night out on the town involving a lot of drinking and merry making. Some sailors take this as an excuse to drink till they pass out or in some extreme case pass out and piss and shit themselves.

A Smashex is often the cause of a sailor being late for work the next day because he woke up far away from his ship in the bed of a very ugly woman or in other cases in hospital.
