Shit Rope

The shit-covered rope which you use to try to climb out of a mess which you are in. You see the shit kind of acts like grease, the harder you hold on, the faster you fall down, all the way to con college.

Words you can keep

The Shit Rope

When life hasn't been so kind to you and your in a deep pit and life throws you a rope covered in shit and kerosene and just when you think there might be some hope, life lights the rope from the top and you find yourself making zero positive progress of anything as usual and your still staying at square one.
When life isnt kind to you and you only get the shit rope and you are shit of luck in other words unfortunate.

holy shit on a rope

Something my (many-times) boss Mike says. Don't ask me why. But it's pretty cool.
Lesbian #3: Mr. Jim just wrecked the forklift again.

Mike: Holy shit on a rope!

Muff: Fuck you, Mr. Jim!

shitrope

An idiom describing the action plan for resolving a dillemma, which will ultimately prove futile. Term pioneered by Mr. Lahey, in describing how Ricky and Julian from the Trailer Park Boys will try to get out of a situation he'll put them in, but won't be able to.
"The boys are playing a shitgame Randy"
"What do you mean Mr. Lahey?"
"Those fuckknobs are climbing up a shitrope Randy. Do you know what a shitrope is?
"No Mr Lahey"
"It's a rope for fucksuckers like those three. A rope for criminals. The harder you squeeze to the rope, the more you slide down it into the shit puddle."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
