Acronym that stands for Stuff Your Face And Get Out. Can be written in upper or lower case.
Pronounced such that it rhymes with "Chicago".
Used to describe an event where you couldn't care less about the ambience, other guests, or cause. You may have been dragged here against your will. In any case, you might as well load up on the free food/liquor at this event while dropping all etiquette and table manners, since you won't ever see any of these people again. Nor do you care if you might run into them in the future.

Word meant to express the utterly magnificent levels of fail that the SyFy channel has begun to excrete following their re-branding from the Sci-Fi Channel. Types of fail include getting a cooking show, Paranormal Reality TV, using mainstream music in StarGate Universe, and Alienating the stations target audience.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
