Reverent Rizzler

reverent rizzler /ˈrɛvərənt ˈrɪzlər/ (noun)

Someone who possesses an authentic, holy charisma. Instead of seeking attention or clout, they use their natural warmth, quiet confidence, and genuine kindness to lift others up and reflect the love of God to everyone around them.

Etymology:
- Reverent: Derived from the Latin "revereri" (to stand in awe or respect), signifying a profound awareness of the sacred and a life rooted in deep, humble faith.
- Rizzler: Modern public-domain slang ("rizz") denoting an undeniable charm or ability to connect with others.

Lexical Note: This term intentionally reclaims modern slang and restores it to its historical, 17th century Greek root of "kharisma"—originally defined not as a self-serving social tool, but as a divine gift of grace meant to serve the community. A reverent rizzler uses their charm to make sure others feel seen, valued, and included.
"Did you see how she welcomed the new student and made them feel so included? Absolute reverent rizzler behaviour."

Reverend Insanity

A holy scripture written by the fabled prophet Gu Zhen Ren detailing the life of the lord and savior, Fang Yuan aka the Great Love Immortal Venerable. Unfortunately, due to the dastardly manipulation of the CCP, this bible was banned before it finished, leaving many Daoists with a crippling emptiness that will never be fulfilled.
"Damn bro, you re-reading Reverend Insanity again? It's been like four years."

"There is nothing else in this mundane world that can satisfy me. Only RI and benefits matter."

Reverend Green

n. Common reference to the great soul singer Al Green, whose greatest hit was "Let's Stay Together." It was in the early 1970s that Green san a run of hits that made him not just an R&B star but a pop icon. Since 1976, Green has concentrated on gospel music, recording numerous albums, but only two pop offerings. Since 1979, he has led his Baptist congregation, the Full Gospel Tabernacle, in Memphis, Tenn. For his release in 2007, "Everything’s OK," Green embraces both worlds by releasing a "secular" album under the name The Reverend Al Green.
"I wanted to put on this album who I am—to 'fess up to it! I'm the Reverend Al Green, and everybody calls me that, from Argentina all the way to the Catskills. So that's who I am."

"They've got catfish on the table
They've got gospel in the air
And Reverend Green be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
But you got a prayer in Memphis"
-- Marc Cohn, 'Walking in Memphis'

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.

“Ever since the glippy hit, food feels optional.”
