Retrosexual is the love of the traditional life style and fashion of the 1940's to the 1960's. Retrosexuals often wear fedoras, suits, and listen to swing music.

(a) A man who is comfortable with or embraces typical working-class dress, usually work clothes, that have changed very little over the years.

(b) A man, usually a young man, who enjoys dressing up but in the outmoded 'square' fashions of the Fifties and early Sixties.

(a) Tom dresses like a bear but he's not gay. In that flannel shirt, work jeans and lace-up boots, he's classically retrosexual.

(b) Jeff loves to scout out fedoras, slim ties and Ivy-League cut suits. The more he looks like Frank Sinatra in the late Fifties or a character from TV's MAD MEN in the early Sixties, he is really pushing the retrosexual button.

1. The "hip" version; The opposite of metrosexual. Basically, any typical male who dosen't have a hissy fit over their own image like a shallow twat.

2. The real version; Anyone who has got a liking and embraces classic pop culture. This can be a various formats of like from sixties television to eighties music, there is no need to limit yourself to one decade just as long you don't really feel excited with today's current trends. (Which basically is starting to whore out the eighties at the moment anyway.) Also refferred to as having a "retrocrush".

Retrosexual Woman 

A Retrosexual Woman is a female who revels in 1940's style femininity--and abhors the coarseness of feminisim. Her stock in trade is an intoxicating combination of soft-spoken elegance, smoldering sensuality, and an air of wide-eyed innocence that most men cannot resist.

Armed with nothing more than a summer dress, a shy wink and a smile, a Retrosexual Woman never needs to pump her own gas or buy her own drink. At home she is a domestic diva who exudes a wholesome sensuality that is alluring no matter how she dresses or what she does. Always modest and wholesome, she is no harlot. Femisinists sometimes (incorrectly) despise retrosexual females as totally subservient to and dependant on men the men in their lives. But a closer look soon reveals that it is the men who are serving the Retrosexual Woman. When the retrosexual female marries, her husband worships her and often spends his evenings joyfully rubbing her feet or massaging her neck.

Susan never gets a traffic ticket no matter how fast she drives. She just smiles and winks at the officer, and he lets her go. It just isn't fair. She is such a Retrosexual Woman.
